Buffets
Our most popular option for weddings and family functions — a generous spread with a choice of main courses, salads and dessert, and always provision for second helpings.

Everything served here is made here. We do not bring caterers in and we do not buy the puddings — the roasts, the salads, the tarts and the rusks all come out of our own kitchen on the day.

Because we cook everything ourselves, your menu is a conversation rather than a catalogue. Sit down with Ansi, tell her who is coming and what they eat, and she will build the day around it — including the vegetarians, the child who only eats chicken, and the aunt who cannot have dairy.
We cater generously and make provision for second helpings. Menus are confirmed 14 days before the day. Leftovers stay with us — we feed our own staff from them — so please do not plan on taking food home.
Outside caterers are not permitted on the property, and the bar is ours. The one exception is champagne, which must reach us before 10:00 on the wedding day.
Every menu is built to order, so there is no fixed price list here — this is a sense of the styles we do most, to help you picture your own day.

The one guests talk about afterwards. Meat on the spit, a bread table, and enough salads that nobody goes hungry.

For late-morning weddings, christenings and baby showers — a relaxed, generous spread.

Standing functions, drinks receptions and year-end parties, served on trays rather than at a table.

Guests staying in the guest house eat from the same kitchen that caters the weddings — breakfast cooked fresh each morning, with a breakfast pack on request for early departures, and lunch or dinner available by arrangement.

Tell us the date and roughly how many people, and we will put a menu and a quote together.
